Delamere Forest
The site backs straight on to the forest with superb trails for bicyclists of all sizes.
Chester is a short train ride away if the weather is reayy bad.
Stayed three times in all and it is very posh.

Re: Delamere website
Tried to connect to the link but its not working.
Have you got an address and tel no for the site?
Had a dummy run with my new roof mounted bike racks last weekend. Managed to get to Warrington and back without losing any bikes so considered it a success. Will have to watch out for low bridges though.

new season approaches
Who is arriving Fri and who on Sat?
Im planning on Fri but have an interlude on Sat lunchtime when L&S attend a cousins birthday party in Heswall, hopefully returning in time for some more biking.
All very excited at this end. Kids looking forward as well!
Anybody recognise the campsite in my profile photo?
One clue is the raindrop on the lens, another would be the phrase "muddy puddle".

Ready to go
All excited here - just back from a week "Doing London" so am totally knackered.
Will be getting there Friday early evening.
May do tea at the Little Chef just up the road if anyone fancies meeting up before pitching (oops sorry forgot, parking) and relaxing in comfort?

ETA 6.30 - 7pm Friday. Hopefully we'll have eaten before we arrive so will skip on the Little Chef and concentrate on getting the tent up before dark, but a Little Chef Olympic Breakfast could be on the agenda at some stage over the weekend (even if I cook it myself).

Re: Delamere website
I should be arriving Friday night but not staying saturday night as have another junior rugby tournament on sunday.
Debating whether to bring the big tent that takes an age to put up, or the decathlon £24.99 pop up, which requires two bottles of wine prior to retiring to bed.

Arrival
Was hoping to be there by tea time but as I am in London at the mo and have a meeting in the morning it is looking more likely that I will be an evening arrival - Phil, save me a pog please, ta.

Do you need to be a member of the camping and caravan club to stay? When I called earlier they asked for my membership number.
